The Children’s Lending Library of Florence!
Originally founded in 1973 to cater to the children of the English-speaking community, today the Library’s resources of books and DVDs in English are utilized by the Florence community as well. The Library also holds a children’s party at Easter, Halloween and Christmas which gives both parents and children a chance to meet and enjoy some of the games and activities we provide.
The library is open to the public from mid September through June.
Come and visit us !
At Halloween, Christmas & Easter we celebrate with a children’s party (members only) with seasonal craft making, games and snacks. Books & toys are on sale as well.

Sometimes it is best to get our listeners to choose what books they want to listen to. Today, the youngest one who is two decided she wanted Angie to read Curious George for her, so Curious George it was. The adults, the children and the little dog enjoyed it.
Today there wasn’t much crowd. It was just three children. So we decided to do some reorg work in the library. We now have a new section for the best children’s books of all time.
Also, check out this month’s theme, YA Fantasy novels.
